Welcome to the Illawarra Sports High School Library
The library is an important part of the school that you will use throughout your time at Illawarra Sports High School. Our library is not only a place for borrowing books, but a space where you can use the Internet, admire student’s artwork on the walls, play board games at recess and lunch, attend workshops or sit and read on one of our many comfortable chairs.
Opening Hours
The library is open to students most recess and lunch breaks.
Services
We have laptops and desktop computers available to students for internet research or publishing. A printer is available to students but permission must be sought from the class teacher or teacher-librarian. All students in ISHS are issued ID cards with their photographs on it. This card also acts as your library card. Please keep this in a secure place. We have an extensive collection of new fiction and magazines that we are always adding to. If there is something you want and we don’t have it, just ask!
Staff
The Teacher Librarian’s name is Ms Goodyer and the library assistants are Mrs Riley and Ms Velthuis. If you need any help with research or finding a particular resource, don’t hesitate to ask.
