On THURSDAY August 26th - Illawarra Sports High School will be holding the SECOND Year 6 to 10 Talented Sport Program Trial.
The trials are open to current Year 6 students or students in year 7 to 10 looking to trial for entry into the Talented Sports and Development Program here at ISHS in 2022.
Students MUST be registered in a community club or representative team in the sport they are trialing for.
Students unsuccessful at Trial 1 are welcome to trial again.
Students do not have to wear school uniform, they can wear whatever training kit they feel comfortable in.
Water bottle and snack is recommended.
All students will be required to complete a beep test and other fitness tests. Students will need indoor runners.
Parents are not permitted to stay - drop off and pick up only.

Field & Court Sports
12pm - 12.45pm - Fitness Test
1pm to 2.15pm - Sport Specific Trial
Meet in Illawarra Sports High School Gym
Park at Berkeley RL field carpark - not staff car park
Surfing - water session
Time TBC
Beach confirmed via SMS morning of trial
• Rugby League - Full contact session - boys and girls
• Rugby Union - Full contact session- boys and girls
• Touch & Tag - non-contact session - girls only
• Netball - girls only
• Basketball - boy and girls
• Surfing - boy and girls
• Hockey - boys and girls
• Football - boys and girls (Sydney FC Elite Program and Football South Coast Development Program).
• Cricket - new in 2022 - boys and girls

If wet weather - an alternate venue or date will be emailed to parents.
Final information and online application form will be emailed to parents the week prior to the trials.
